In fact, for a game of this scale, with that small of a team, it should take longer than average. Going radio silence and taking many years to make a game has always been the industry standard.
Though, I would guess that, if it weren't for moderators there, there'd probably just be more posts there about this subject matter anyway. Hell, even the Hollow Knight subreddit barely even talks about Silksong at all at this point.
